The joker he plays is the creepiest villian ever and I believe it disturbed him so much it contributed to his death. He couldn't leave the roll at work, he talked about it in interviews. I personally do not want to watch it!

That's like saying, "In Brokeback Mountain, he plays the gayest guy ever and it contributed to his becoming gay."
Heath Ledger was an amazing actor and someone who was able to overcome drug addiction. I find it hard to believe that someone as strong-willed as that is brought down by a movie role.

BTW, DS (#12), actors do take a lot from their roles and sometimes they can't shake it. When you immerse yourself in something that dark for that long, it can change your own outlook.
