12. A friend of mine has the same problem, her baby toe is shorter and curved inward a little. She was born that way, the bone in that toe had a stunted growth, the same is true of her pinky fingers on her hands; they are shorter than her other fingers. It's nothing that we should all gawk at, it was a genetic defect.

14. Hammer Toes are Fixable - not right now while she is pregnant but if I were her I would be it on my "to do" list after the baby comes. In the meantime, not a good idea to wear open toed shoes - nope, not a good idea.
