Five out of five dentists say Michael Phelps is all wet -- when it comes to his choice of breakfast cereal.
Health experts are going nuts because Mikey likes Frosted Flakes, and is going to be on the FF box rather than a Wheaties box, like pretty much every other big-shot athlete. They're all up in arms because Flakes has three times as much sugar as Wheaties and only a fraction of the fiber. Not so grrrrrreat after all?!
We've put in a call to the Wheaties peeps, but haven't heard back yet.

I guess the health nuts forget that to win his 8 medals Phelps eats 22,000 calories a day.... his breakfast includes his Frosted Flakes, 4 egg/cheese sandwiches, 4 slices of fench toast, 4 chocolate chip pancakes and a 5 egg omelete...

now he's the hero of Madison Ave and the advertising executives
how fast they change!
if he waited a few weeks surely his price would not have come down-
so it's all about the race for the cash after the race for the medals
he's no longer one of "us" now
let's hope that he sets aside some money to help poor children get memberships to facilities where they too can learn to swim and maybe have dreams of the Olympics

Umm, he also works out like a mad man. He can eat what he wants and burns off the calories because he's active. Maybe if the experts concentrated on getting parents and kids more active they wouldn't worry about that box Michael's pic is on.

I would rather see him endorse something he actually eats - big deal. Make your kids go outside and play instead of sitting playing video games and getting fat, and make them brush their teeth. god like it's sooooo hard

Cristina, your point is exactly the point. Well said. This isn't about money you ignorant dopes. He already is a millionaire. And will make millions more. So he likes Frosted Flakes, shocking, who doesn't? And as he is an athlete, he can easliy afford (and desperately needs) the calories. Al is dope but right.
