91. Soft Whispers - did you ever stop to think that mayba Obama stopped to scratch his ass when that photo was taken, hence his hand not being on his heart? Unless you were there to see him, you cannot NOT realize this picture was taken as an attempt to smear him in the press.

92. John McCain is the man I want fighting for my children...period. I don't trust Obama with all of this terrorist ties, and shady connections. I think he agrees with William Ayres, and that is a horrific thing to imagine with him in the oval office.

John McCain will protect our country, above all else. What some people don't seem to understand is that if we are attacked again, Obama will "talk" to them... I want someone in the White House that will be tough enough that no one will even think about attacking us, and then if they do, I want someone that will stand up and PUNCH THE SQUARE IN THE MOUTH!!

If we aren't safe, nothing else matters!! If my children are killed in an attack from either homegrown or foreign terrorists, the economy doesn't matter, the oil doesn't matter, nothing else matters.

96. Why is it 'intolerant' when convervatives don't want same sex marriage, but its not 'intolerant' that you want force it into everyone's homes? Convervatives are sick and tired of the government telling us what we can and cannot do. The Constitution should be looked at for what it is and not what Liberals and their judges want it to be. Liberals are really nothing but the royal elitists from the 18 centurty. "Make the people pay for the government because we all deserve their money". Gimme a break!

97. We were not attacked by the Iraqis. The man that attacked us is still free and we are in Iraq for some reason, causing loss of life of Americans and Iraqi citizens. We need to get out of there and find bin Laden. I don't see what is wrong with talking first, then attack. If it works it would save money and lives! You never know if you don't try! I think there is too much hate in the world because people are scared of those who are different. It's worth a try to negotiate rather than just jump right in. Look what happened in Iraq. Total disaster!
I am voting for Obama because I agree with the Democratic stance on social issues.

98. Seems white trash republicans visit this site more, not a surprise there. To the idiot who said she will not vote for someone who doesn't pay tribute to your flag - you really believe those chain emails? I guess you must be retard who forwards those chain emails saying "forward to 54093 people or you will die in 10 days" LAME!!!!!!!!! And to the others going on and on how Palin has more experience than Obama, I have more sperm in my sac than Alaska has people. That should sum it up, bitches! Go to Obama's site and read the facts!

99. I don't think same sex marriage or abortion should be shoved on anyone - every one should just be given a choice. it's like that one child rule in China or whatever - I don't want someone telling me I have to have a child or no child. I want to decide.
I think religion and politics need to be separate. Everything turns into a moral issue. I don't look to the president or government as a moral guide - if I want that I would go to church.

101. To all the women who are voting for Palin simply because she is a woman I ask - are you really willing to give up our basic rights as a woman to allow a woman who will set us back 150 years in office? She had no problem with a woman's right to choose when it was her choice to make and her daughters choice to make but she is more than willing to take that same choice away from the rest of us. She cares nothing about the environment or people - just money and power and has no problem blatently abusing her power at that. What kind of mother would willingly and knowingly throw her 17 year old daughter in the spotlight and one of the toughest times of that young person's life?

Hillary supporters who now support Palin should be ashamed of themselves. Palin stands for NOTHING Hillary did. While I was not a fan of HIllary, she at least worked hard to get where she got, she recognized she was entering the 'boys' game and sucked it up and took the hits. Palin, in less than a week, has already whined about how people are being harder on her cause she's a woman. Really? Does she think that when she meets with leaders of other countries they are going to treat her differently because she's a women? Not likely. She wants to be treated as an equal then stop whining about being picked on.

She is a disgrace to women and to the US. I will vote for women everywhere by voting to keep our rights. Roe v. Wade is far more than just about abortion. It allowed women to finally stand up and have a say at home and in politics. It allowed women to enter the workforce and be more than a teacher or nurse or homemaker. It allowed women to dream of becoming an astronaut, a governor, a presidential nominee. It allowed women to stand up to men and say we are no longer going to just in the corner quietly and look pretty. We have a brain, we have an opinion and we are going to make this our world too.

102. So far what we know about Palin in 4 days:

She can deliver a great sarcastic speech. She has charisma. She has energized the conservatives in her party. She voted for a boondoggle project and now proclaims she was against it. She is for no abortion even in the case of rape or incest. She tried to ban books from the library and fired the librarian who was later reinstated. Her state is spending $95,000 of taxpapers money to defend her in the ethics trial. She hired a lobbyist to get her city some of those earmarks that she now detests. She left her city swimming in debt to become Governor. She laughed her way through a radio interview as the host called her opponent (fighting cancer by the way) a bitch and skewered her, while Barracuda Sarah had to publically apologize to the entire state for her behavior. She line item vetoed pregnant teen and kindergarten programs in her budget, preaching abstinence only in a state with the highest rate of sexually transmitted diseases.

The cult of pesonality? Hmmm, who is a celebrity now?

103. I don't have time to read all the comments but after reading the first several I get the sense that no one wants to really look at all the issues. I may be incorrect but it seems like our alturnative to a Moderate Republican is a Socialist State. I'm sure Oboma has a great heart. I watched ALL of both conventions because to this day I'm not sure who to vote for. It concerns me that September 11th was glossed over by everyone. I don't think I heard anything about it during Oboma's Campaign. Frankly we are a nation of fair weather people. We forget quickly and we are quick to point the finger. I'm also blown away that Gov. Negan walked away from his part in the Hurricane Katrina disaster - he completely screwed up and he's still in office. HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN? It's amazing the lack of responsibility our so called leaders take. I feel Oboma is a Glorified Social Worker. Like I said, nice guy, good heart but what will he do when we are attacked again? Bush may suck with our budject but at least we are safe. Oh I have tons more I could say but you all don't have the attention span for it.

104. Amy - you sound like an intelligent, well-informed woman. I only wish more Americans were too.

105. Why did 45 percent of you vote to 'have a beer' with Palin — she's a Pentecostal, which strictly forbids alcohol in any form or for any celebration.
