Cop Comes Out with His Hands Up ... and Dances!

9/5/2008 11:25 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Check out New York's finest at its worst.

We're sure the boys in blue will be so proud of this guy -- retired NYPD officer-turned-movie producer Bob DeBrino. Isn't flashing a badge a crime when you're not an active cop?

As we all know, these days a flashing red light on a video camera is a green light to misbehave. I've known Bob for 15 years and he DOES NOT do drugs or drink. He actually goes to my church (ask Mark Wahlberg) and was a cop in NY several years ago but was shot in the line of duty and gained weight while in a wheel chair. He has since lost the pounds but still lives in pain. He was at Koi 20 minutes prior to him busting a move, and the reason for his celebration was due to him receiving good news for a great cause. We love you Bob, Rythm or not. ;)

Wow. What a shmuck. Forget the handicap placard, and the NYPD badge, but this is his way of self-promoting (holding up the only movie poster he has to his name). That's just sad.
