Stallone Throws Right Hook

Sarah Palin finally has an outspoken A-list supporter in Hollywood -- from a guy who seems to be obsessed with the hot librarian look!

Sylvester Stallone professed his "love" for the V.P. wannabe on his way out of Koi last night ... right after he told us he was voting for Abraham Lincoln. He must have meant McCain -- they're about the same age.

5. Ya know, I find it funny that such filth tabloids like yourself, would take every opportunity to degrade and belittle John McCain and Sarah Palin. Obviously, having the young guns in office is proving fruitless. Why not get someone with age (by the way, with age, comes experience) in the office? Or does that just go above the level of competence you people have?

11. Sarah is beautiful -inside and out- she's the perfect pick to round out the McCain ticket. This will be my first time voting Republican - thanks to the Maverick and the Pit Bull...

**and have any of you considered that if she got contacts, let her hair down, and started wearing high-end labels, she'd be TOO pretty to be taken seriously?? She has no choice but to tone it down...at least she keeps the three-inch heels***

And my friends at TMZ: I read other tabloid sites who are surprisingly balanced regarding this election - they poke fun at all candidates equally, without being raunchy - but they can't compete with TMZ with regard to credibility on celebrity news and gossip. PLEASE maintain your credibility on all your reporting and clever comments your readers love so much...especially as our nation approaches such a critical election.

15. #5 (at the time) said "Obviously, having the young guns in office is proving fruitless."

I'm sorry, but at what point have we had "young guns" in office? And if that truly is your problem why are you in such a hurry to defend Sarah Palin, the youngest, least experienced person on ANY presidential ticket? Her decisions relating to her personal life (questionable though they have been) are irrelevent and insignificant when compared to her constant unethical and pandering behavior during her Alaskan regime that prove she has no idea what she's doing and no business in ANY position of power much less potential president. And I say potential president because let's face it - McCain IS old and will probably not survive a full term if (God forbid) he is elected.

My problems with McCain have little to do with his age. Reagan was old and, for the most part, harmless. "W" is only 10 years McCain's junior and yet he's been a fear-mongering, war-profiteering nightmare. No, my problem with McCain is his politics plain and simple. Setting aside for the moment his conservative views on abortion, same sex marriage, and civil rights, he's BAD for the ecomony - he thinks everything is just fine and dandy. His selection of Sarah Palin shows not only poor judgement and non-existent research skills but also that he has no problem manipulating the public. He selected her for one reason - she's a woman. That was his attempt to make us (as women) see him in a new, more progressive light. For those of us who have the presence of mind to learn about the candidates his tactic failed miserably.

I won't vote for someone because of their gender any more than I would because of race, religion, or sexual orientation. Unless those factors DIRECTLY effect their ability to lead they are irrelevent. Obama has my vote because he has proved time and time again to be a calm, logical, rational man who makes careful decisions after weighing the options. His econimic veiwpoint is not colored by contributors and his social politicss (though not liberal enough for me to be completely happy) are sound and sorely needed to bring our country out of the middle-ages.

Obama, 2008
