Sir Paul Goes Sho Far for Security, It's Absurd

Paul McCartney is giving peace a chance in Israel ... with 5,000 guards just to make sure.

Sir Paul is playing tonight in Tel Aviv, and he's hired the small army of security from MI6 and Mossad, not to mention the police, at a cost of nearly $3 million, to make sure nothing goes fekakte during his gig. He's playing in honor of Israel's 60th anniversary, and his life has been threatened by Islamic extremists.

He's even taken three whole floors at the Dan Hotel to make sure he's safe.

17. Rock on Paul. Although I'm deeply afraid of what could happen, I am glad that you're not backing down. Mindless terrorist, who can't think for themselves, only win if you do. And so help me GOD....if one hair on your head is hurt - watch out terrorist! You mess with a Beatle....You mess with the WORLD!!!

PEACE & LOVE.....ALWAYS!!!

19. Hey Keith,

Some facts: the Palistinian people receive more aid per capita than any other group on earth - an it gets squandared on fancy living by Fatah officials and arms/bombs aimed at Israel, instead of feeding their own people or building roads/houses and a safe environment. And they brainwash their kids to believe it's all Israel's fault. Their first democratic election and they chose a known terrorist group with ties to Iran. Oh, and those Palistinian territories? Used to belong to Egypt & Jordan - they were more than happy to give up the land to Israel becuase they didn't want to deal with the craziness.

America's financial support for Israel consists of guaranteeing loans - not handouts- which Israel has historically paid back.

If you want to talk about the 'most murderous regime in history' pick on Sudan or the rest of the Arab world for supporting the atrocities in Darfur. Or against their own people for that matter; more Palistinians have been killed by their own than by Israelies.

21. Anyone would think that terrorists only operate in Israel but sadly we know that they are everywhere!

Please remember that Israel welcomes many top notch groups, actors, ballet companies and artists of the highest caliber every year without any problems whatsoever. My son is now at the concert which is totally sold out and I am sure that it will be a terrific experience for everyone. I have been a fan of Paul and the Beatles since I was a young girl growing up in London of the 1960s and I am thrilled that he is visiting our beautiful country.

22. Too bad that money couldn't have gone to a better cause... like transferring all the murderous pali terrorists to Jordan... or some other Arabic country that might want them. Oh right... nobody wants them because they are non-productive leaches that suck their people dry and spend their time plotting to destroy Israel and the Western World...

23. i feel that his business manager made a mistake by entertaining the idea of this even with this rock star....... specially in an area that has the history of fighting and political problems..... i dont think that anyone in the entertainment industry should be playing any concerts in israel simply because of the political tensions..... unless you live in israel then go for it........ i am not on any side... i dont agree with killing of inocent children , womern, men, although we are on the other side of the world..... we cant ignore civil rights being violated by any country or governent or regime ...or look the other way.....................but in my opinion...........he should not have been performing at that event.... too dangerous for him now..............and in the future.... just my personal opinion....

24. I don't blame him for hiring as much security as possible, but I have to say I'm glad it's over and I hope he's already out of there.

25. Oh Keith, open your eyes.

The Jews were legitimately granted the land of Israel by the UN in 1948.
the next day the Arab neighbros attacked.
And your precious Arabs are just sitting by peacefully hhuh...nevver hear of their bus bombings, plowing in to crowds of pedestrians, etc...

You obviously have your opinions down- why, maybe you are a Jew hater, sounds like it, but there are facts on the ground.
the Pals have had so many chances at peace, sadly their leaders are all corrupt a la Arafat and thre are people like you who think they are only vicitms.
Wake up Pals and start builidng yourselves up, not just bombing.

26. What is he doing in Israel? Oh, yeah, a concert. Seems that, in these times, those in the know are NOT to go to Israel. Guess he didn't read that part.
