1. Bob May was in the "suit"... the voice belonged to Mr. Dick Tufeld! He (not Bob) was also the show's narrator... and DT worked on many of the Irwin Allen shows of that era (one of my boyhood voiceover heroes).

3. You've gotta fact check better; Bob was in the suit; Mr. Dick Tufeld provided the voice of Robot! He was also the show's narrator. One of the greatest TV voiceovers of the 20th century!

4. The story has a happy ending not shown on the video: Dr. Smith keeps rubbing and there is a sudden burst of hydraulic fluid in his face.
