This Little Piggie Won't Go On SNL

Mark WahlbergThere were only two funny moments on SNL last week, and Mark Wahlberg laughed at just one.

Wahlberg was none too happy with the sketch, "Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals," according to the New York Post.

He said: "Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn't like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that's for sure. And 'Saturday Night Live' hasn't been funny for a long time. They've asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don't even know who's on the show now."

"Entourage" hasn't been that funny for a long time either, but we still watch ... Geeze, Mark.

Well....IT IS true...they've gotten a lot of mileage out of their political sketches, but I've heard a lot of people say the same thing about SNL. The writers there leave you hanging on the funny. I used to watch MAD TV, but once the show gets good and the comics and writers want more money, they get rid of them and it flatlines as well.

I actually thought the sketch about Mark Wahlberg was funny. Andy Samberg is adorable and he was spot on as Wahlberg. Mark Wahlberg is just bitter and being a baby because he was made fun of. Boo hoo.

^^^or, kelly, maybe he actually just really thought it was pathetic and stupid. just because YOU thought it was funny doesn't mean everyone else does. ever hear of an "opinion"? your word isn't fact, so get over yourself. and that was barely being "made fun of" so i doubt anyone could or would be bitter and a baby about it. it was pretty lame and so are you.

Mark is about as lame as they come, the sketch was spot on, not to funny, but great spoof on good ole Marky Mark. Bro, no one cares what you think. He's almost as lame as his 40 something year old brother who thinks he's still 21! Dude is Irish and dresses, acts and talks like he's the baddest black dude out there (donnie)!! Wahlbergs are lame!

I thought the sketch was hysterical! Andy Samberg's impression was flawless. I love Mark Wahlberg too....I'm surprised he was upset by it. We all gotta laugh at ourselves once in a while!

First of all Entourage is the only thing HBO has going for it. Secondly he's right about SNL. It's on borrowed time, as evidenced by the fact that the suits at NBC recently made Lorne Michaels cut both the production crew and the talent. Finally Wahlberg is smart for not doing the show Why legitimize it any longer? If I were his agent I'd rather book him on The View than make him suffer through a sketch with Keenan Thompson if things ever got that bad. But this is Mark Wahlberg we're talking about. He'ss have a few Oscars before it's said and done.

He should be flattered that SNL did a skit based on his characters. It's nice to see SNL doing something besides political satire during the election season. Suck it up, Mark, go on the show and make fun of yourself, we'll still watch your movies.

Why?:  1218 days ago

Him and his brother are such losers. Lighten up. Who cares? No other celebrity complains when shows like this make fun of them. Stop being a uptight douche all your life.

It's always funnier when they are making fun of someone else.

Regardless of whether Wahlberg thought the sketch was funny, it certainly wasn't offensive...so he should quit his whining. Mark is a decent actor, but he's one of the biggest whiners around, and he will literally flip out at being called "Marky Mark," even though that's what made him famous in the first place. How about a little gratitude about still being in the spotlight?

Entourage is great, the fact that you don't like it, says it all. TMZ = Turds.

SNL has only one thing going for it, Tina Fey....but after the elections, it's back to crapfest comedy. It hasn't been funny in years.

Hasn't been funny in 25 years. It must be NBC's tax write-off since the stock is tanking.
