Murder Weapon in Hudson Murder ID'd

Chicago cops have confirmed -- the gun found last Wednesday is the same one used to murder three members of Jenifer Hudson's family.

Police found a .45 caliber Sig-Sauer semiautomatic pistol a block from where a vehicle was part containing the body of Jenifer's 7-year-old nephew Julian King. Cops knew almost immediately the gun was a match because of unfired bullets synced up with the casings found at the murder scene.

Police also are investigating whether the weapon may have once belonged to Jason Hudson.

The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives determined the weapon was originally owned by someone in Michigan who had reported it stolen. Investigators now need to follow the path of the gun that takes them to Chicago.

18. I think some people give way too much credit to criminals. They aren't exactly known for their intelligence or well thought out plans.

I dont think that William or no on else took Julian from that house that day..I believe that Julian wasnt even there..I believe that Julian was still with his mother from the night before at that birthday dinner of hers...she claims to have "handed him over to her mother at the front door and then she gave her mother her food/cake and then she went to bed"..these are her exact words at that press conference!
Nobody knows if thats really true or not...all that were involved in her statement are now deceased and cannot verify this!
Whats bugging me is that right after she made that statement a reporter asked her if they all lived together and she said yes.
Well since she lived there how come she handed her child to her mother at the door and then went to bed...that doesnt sound right...her mom had that cake too remember?..Point being, Julia kind of implied that she was just dropping her son off..but then she kind of slipped up and said she went to bed afterwards...what in the hell is the TRUTH here???
Something is very suspect about that woman!...It almost seems like hse just lied as she went along at that press conference..I pray to God that I'm WRONG but something damn sure isnt RIGHT!
These are just my thoughts and opinions..like I said, I hope that I'm incorrect.
Please Lord let the truth come out..in Jesus nam I pray...Amen!

21. Once they determine how long Julian had been dead when they found his body will explain a lot. Balfour missed his meeting with the parole officer because he was "babysitting"? If this were the case, it would be easy enough to provide him with an alibi. Missing a meeting is an automatic violation of parole. I think he had Julian with him at the time and it was the first thing that came into his mind to use as an excuse. He then saw the national coverage on the murders so he killed him and ditched the gun as quickly as possible. By the way, if Balfour had a job then why didn't he go to work on Friday? Did he call his employer that morning to say he wouldn't be at work?

I don't think I've read anything about William being scheduled to work that day, but missing probation meetings is a big no no.

I have been reading these comments for the past several days and this is the first time I've felt compelled to write,
I agree 1000% with every word you just posted. Julia was obviously making that story up as she went along. Why on earth would her mother have to meet her at the door and have her food and cake "handed" to her if they lived in the same house?!!!! That has been bothering me for days!

I also have a seven year old and every time I think of that little boy's face, tears come to my eyes. It's eating me up inside. I only hope we get answers to this puzzle and soon.

from what facts are known i agree julian was a panic move. whoever did it was not expecting him to be there...that could also explain why the gun was so easy to find, etc....they were in panic mode and had to move quickly.

that question has been asked a lot. i have read reports that have indicate she may have handed julian to her mother at the door and went back out to celebrate her birthday.

If Julia's mother WAS really waiting at the door for them and she DID go back out,
she obviously lied because she said, "I handed her her food, and I handed her her cake and that was that.
I went to bed and she went upstairs."
And another thing, why didn't she put her son to bed? No making sure he changed his clothes, brushed his teeth, no prayers, no kiss goodnight. . . no NOTHING?
No conversation between her and her mother? Just here you go, I'm out?

She just seemed really cold to me. Like she was reading a bad script, and not doing a very good job of it, either.

29. The entire tradegy is fishy to me. Im not sure if William did this crime or maybe he had help. I read that the house was raided and that Julia and Jason was involved in drugs either way theirs more to this story.
I just can't understand why a woman ( Julia) would let a murder/criminal into her life for godsake you have a seven year old child what where you thinking.
I hate to sound cold hearted but I blame her for this horrific crime!!!!
I am a mother of a 20 day old son and no way in hell I would ever date or marry anyone that was accused or murder or any other crimes. We seriously need to do research on any boyfriend/girlfriend that we want to bring in our kids lives...

you're right. whether or not she did go out, she should have been a mommy first....i agree 100% BUT we don't know exactly what transpired that night, we can speculate and assume but until all the facts come out that's all we can do.
