Jessica Simpson Rushes Bloody BFF to Hospital

Jessica Simpson and Ken PavesJessica Simpson watched in shock as her BFF/hair stylist Ken Paves had his face busted open during a crazy paparazzi crush on their way out of Madeo late Saturday night.

Ken was escorting Jess out of the restaurant, when the sea of snappers swarmed -- and in the madness, one guy hit Ken near his eye with a part of a camera.

With blood trickling down his face, Ken still managed to get Jess inside their waiting ride. Their driver then whisked the group to a nearby hospital, where Jess accompanied her friend inside the building.

Calls to their reps have yet to be returned -- and as of right now no police reports have been filed.

2. This is horrible, but bound to happen. The paps are just ridiculous. I, for one, DO NOT require all of these photos with my stories that you people go to such great lengths to get. The pics are there, so I look. Big deal. If the pics weren't there, I'd still read the story. As paps go, I'm not a fan.

8. TMZ........... What happened to the nice animal pictures you started showing.... Horses etc...

Its starting to get boring just seeing celebrities (humans).

ADD some funny or inspiring animal photos or stories here and it would be a perfect mix.

Did it even occur to you that Jess has probably the same risk of developing AIDS as Ken because she may be sleeping with Romo and by association every football tramp he's slept with? You'd also have to believe that her ex was a virginal boy bander when she married and slept with him. Now that I think about it, she's probably more at risk than Ken...
