McDonald's Cuts the Cheese, Ups Their Prices

Screw the auto industry -- save the McDonald's dollar menu!

The economy's first food industry casualty is upon us, as McDonald's is upping the price of its deliciously disgusting double cheeseburger to a whopping $1.19 -- and they're replacing it with the "McDouble," which is a double burger with half the cheese.

The price hike starts in December ... there are dark, dark times ahead, people.

6. Actually TMZ, the double cheeseburger will remain the same with two slices of cheese for $1.19... there is a new McDouble with only one slice of cheese priced at $.99.... either way, it's a sham - Give the people cheese !!!!!!

7. Why the F would anyone eat at McDonald's? There is a drive thru in my neighborhood which is in a nice part of town.The people line up in their cars starting at about 11 AM and go solid through 2 PM. I can be over at that shopping center and it doesn't matter when, fat people in their cars, waving two whole bucks, want their salty, fatty, quick cheap lunch. I am always disgusted by them. Make a freaking sandwich you degenerates.

12. Starts in December? They've already started it! I had one just last week and it was 1.19. They can cut the gas prices but food prices are going to skyrocket.

14. I'd like for all these big companies that reduce their product and still charge the same price, to show me how to do it with my products and get away with it. They all do it, give less product, charge the same price or higher. Thier not the only ones having to save $$ it's the consumer thats taking the biggest hit. They can afford to take the hit more then us.

15. Good one Rick. Two slices of cheese is too much. They charge like $.25 for extra cheese anyway, so it makes sense.
