She's Like Arnold... With Underwear

12/1/2008 2:20 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Move over Kyra Sedgwick, there's a new closer in town.

Sarah Palin, the Britney Spears of politics, has been recruited to help campaign in the Georgia Senate runoff between Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss and Jim Martin.

The red elephants are looking to bank on Palin's pop star appeal to rally the low number of voters who turn out for these runoffs. The Governator of Caleeefornia used to be the go to guy....we're guessing flying commando may have made it problematical in Georgia.

Palin will hit four spots today in the Peach State -- but don't worry, no turkeys will be harmed in the process.

Quit hacking on Republicans. It is so obvious and the smarter ones can see through it. She is a bright, articulate woman. You press just smear her negatively.

I AM a Republican and she annoys me. She's an embarrassment to the party. The only thing she's capable of is reading from a script and acting "folksy" when she doesn't have one. If she truly wants to be important to the party then she needs to lay low for a while, study up on foreign policy, and come back in a few years when she's better politically educated. She also needs to have more sophistication before she starts dealing with people from around the world. Her folksy schtick is inappropriate when dealing with heads of state from other countries. I have nothing against her personally but she is not ready to be in the national/global eye.

"The Britney Spears of politics"? Hmmm. Let's see, Mrs. Palin has been married ONCE, DOESN'T have crotch shots, IS NOT DRUG OR ALCOHOL ADDICTED, NEVER been under psychiatric observation that helicopters have to circle the house, and other problems. TMZ you disgust me. Get rid of your bias.

Palin is a whore and her daughter is a slut.

Stupid rightwigers comlpain endlessly about celebs but conveniently look the other way when one of their own has a messy life.

I really cannot believe people mention Palin, bright and articulate in the same sentence. What Palin are you talking about? Could not be the same idiot who ran for VP. Come on. This is an insult to all of the bright, articulate people out there.

I hope the Party continues to be inspired by her. Someone this smug will continue to be the subject of ridicule. I believe she will aspire to stardom but I don't think she'll find it as an elected official. And she is funny to listen to.

Palin is anything BUT articulate. Take her off script and she couldn't put together a coherent sentence to save her life. She's just another pop idol; hence the comparison to Spears.

Marilyn and others like her,

Do you know that the media and gossip mongrels twisted the facts and presented a false image of her? Don't call a person dumb unless you know the facts, not just here-say or implications. Yes, she did say she read all the papers in her hometown, and refused to name one specific newspaper when being interviewed by Katie Couric. Does that mean she didn't read anything? If you wish. People took her mention of knowing how important foreign relations is, as living in Alaska she lives next door to two foreign countries, Russia and Canada. That got twisted into her saying (which she never did say) that she has foreign policy experience because she can see Russia from her house. Get it now? All is false. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Goggle her exact quotes and you'll see you believe and are spreading falsehoods. Never believe what others say about a person, believe what that person says. That is the only way to judge character and content.

So when you say you hate her, it's on you, for you hate a person for no reason at all. Just hate and can't reason why so you quote lies and twisted reports. Give me traceable sources (reliable please) of her exact quotes to back any responses.

For TJ, TMZ, and other T's like them,

You're sad. Envy is your middle name.

I think Palin's 4 year degree in journalism gives her an edge on Britney.

Didn't Dan Quayle have a law degree?

This woman has not even stepped foot in her own State House since the national election. She is far more interested in furthering her own fame than she is in governing her own state. And all of you conservatives think she is brilliant? You think she is "articulate" and a master of energy policy? Well this is one of her quotes concerning energy policy:

"Of course, it's a fungible commodity and they don't flag, you know, the molecules, where it's going and where it's not. But in the sense of the Congress today, they know that there are very, very hungry domestic markets that need that oil first. So, I believe that what Congress is going to do, also, is not to allow the export bans to such a degree that it's Americans who get stuck holding the bag without the energy source that is produced here, pumped here. It's got to flow into our domestic markets first."

I mean really? You guys think this is the best... the smartest... that the Republicans have to offer in 2012? Well get ready to lose again...

If you are at all interested in what Alaskans think of their governor now... just read this:
