The economy sucks, people are struggling to make ends meet -- and Laura Dern is paying double so someone else can pump her petrol in Brentwood. 
While the cost of self-service gas hovers just below $2 in California, Dern paid at least an additional $2, plus tip, to have someone else pump it and wash her windows at the full service station.
That "Jurassic Park" money has one helluva life span.

Who the hell tips gas attendants? For what? You're already paying for them to wash your windshield, check the oil, whatever. The tipping culture is way out of hand, if TMZ is right on this.

what's wrong with that?? she has done a lot to help people in need during her career. she makes A LOT of money from society, good people find ways to pay back. people have JOBS at that gas station, spreading the wealth is NOT an evil thing!

Gotta love living in Canada. in the last 4 weeks gas has dropped almost in half!!!! we're at .74 cents done from $1.35. WOO! SUCKS TO BE AMERICAN!

They charge $2.00 more a gallon for full service in CA?? What is wrong with those people put there.
At the most, full service is 10 cents more a gallon out on the east coast. One place is 5 cents cheaper for full service when compared to the self service place 1/4 mile down the road.
