Michael Jackson's New Crib

He's been teetering on the financial brink for years, yet we've learned somehow Michael Jackson has rented a home in one of the most exclusive areas of L.A. for a whopping $100,000 a month.

Launch photos
The $38 million Holmby Hils pad has seven bedrooms, 13 baths, 12 fireplaces, a screening room and, of course, a cellar for Jesus juice. For sleepovers, there's a guest house, swimming pool and garden.

The deal was inked several weeks ago under a heavy-duty confidentiality agreement. Michael already has stayed there.

3. DOSN'T MICHEAL JACKSON STILL OWN THE RIGHTS TO SOME OLD BEATLES MUSIC?

4. Michael may have owned a portion of the Beatles catalog, in association with Sony at some point.
However, that claim is probably so leveraged, it makes Ed McMahons money problem seem like pocket change in Trumps front room couch.
Since "Thriller", he hasn't done any memorable work (a mention in "Men in Black II" was funny) except for some brief mentions in LA County Superior Court, yet he finds backers to promote his "come back".
He either has an album that will surpass Pink Floyds "Dark Side of the Moon" on Billboards charts, Celene Dion and her show in Vegas will look to be a dinner theatre presentation or he literally sold his soul to the devil, becoming someones meal ticket.

Just wonderin'.

10. If the lease was signed under "a heavy-duty confidentiality agreement," then how did TMZ find out about it?

Now, I'm not a big MJ fan (not like 20 years ago), but knowing MJ went all out to keep his info private, the media should respect his wishes and not publicize his LA home location.

Am I wrong here?

Maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Where's the caffeine??

11. And all the news stories say Jackson is going broke, WTF?

12. 123456, thanks for spelling my name the way i intended (in small print), but I beg you for an argument, other than myself being "brain dead".
I mentioned the pedophile charges. And the meal ticket points.

I stand by the point that any of MJ's ownership of J. Lennon/P. McCartney compositions is so leveraged, the argument of Jackson owning any portion of Beatles music is moot.
