It's an age-old question. Why do all the hot chicks prefer ruthless drug lords over nice guys who pay taxes?

Latina babe Laura Zuniga was just stripped of her "Queen of Hispanic America" title after getting popped at a Mexican checkpoint with her boyfriend, his posse and trucks filled with weapons and cash.

Included in the bust: AR-15 assault rifles, 38 specials, 9mm handguns, nine magazines, 633 cartridges and $53,300 in U.S. currency.

Zuniga is being held for 40 days while investigators consider charges.

Better that she get's put on lock down now than becoming another future casualty of violence. Hope this is her wake up call. Dealing with those kind of people never leads to anything good.

well she can contemplate that question in her cell...her bf and his crew ...are now on the law's radar...and if you think their cutting you loose...world peace has a better chance of becoming reality !!!

Life is imitating art. One of the storylines in HBO's "Capodocia" involved a beauty queen who got busted because of her drug kingpin lover ("la colombiana".

It's a shame this Mexican beauty doesn't get due process and the presumption of innocence before getting stripped of things she earned.
