So Brad Pitt is trying to explain what happened when he hooked up with Angelina Jolie, and we think he doth protest a bit too much.
Pitt tells W he was "still filming after Jen [Aniston] and I split up. Even then it doesn't mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn't. I'm very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful." Tell that to Jen: She said it was "uncool."

1. It is what it is, why does Brad feel the need to defend it now when he never defended it back then. They had an affair and the world knows what it was. The only thing Anniston has said is is wasnt cool and no it wasnt. He did think about her feelings then and she didnt come out screaming and putting it in the press back then, she held her tongue and has every right to finally make a comment. Once a cheat always a cheat-I give it 5 years before we hear about the next affair.
GO JEN on your movie. I personally would not watch a pitt or jolie movie, they make me want to puke with their attitudes and fake charity crap. They do it for a tax right off fools. All publicity. Maybe Brad feels that he has to defend himself because years and years later, Jen's on Oprah calling Brad and Angelina uncool, Jen's in Vanity Fair magazine saying negative things about Brad and Angelina, not to mention other talk shows. where she disses one or the other. Jen, it's over, get on with your life! You didn't hear Nicole Kidman whining to people when Tom Cruise walked out on her for Penelope Cruz! Nicole has class and talent, unlike Jennifer Aniston!

6. Jen is going through a mid-life crisis. She's about to turn 40 and desperately wants kids now. So she is trying to hook John Mayer, and that relationship will not last. She was the so called girl next door, now she wants to bare all. All Brad wanted was a family, and Jen was worried about her career. More power to Angie , Brad and the kids.

8. Hey #5: Why can't Jen say negative things about a cheating husband? Why should she keep quiet and let the cheater and homewrecker get away with their behavior. Brad and Angie do not deserve any respect from Jen. They deserve all they will get when karma comes back around. Brad was not the first taken man Angie hooked up with...Laura Dern was quoted saying she went to film a movie and came back to find her fiance, Billy Bob, living with Angie. Shame on them all...all these celebrities that think marriage is disposable...god forbid they work out their problems and focus their commitments. Jen is not obsessed with Brad the media is. Oprah did not ask Brad about Jen....only Jen about Brad. Oprah is no better than any of the tabloids trying to make Jen complain about him. I am on Jen's side 100% being blindsided by a cheating husband publically must have been devistating! not many people can say they had to live through it.

13. He's a little late coming to Angie's (and his) defense. Jen's statements were made weeks ago. If he felt they were untrue and warranted a defense, an immediate one would have been much less suspect. The significant delay between her comments and his defensive retorts tells me one thing - Angie had a fit and harranged him until he finally came to her defense. Brad might have chosen the higher path and decided not to comment at all. Who knows? However, it's been too long since Jen's comments were made to respond effectively. At this point it just makes Brad and Angelina look that much more guilty.

14. Let's face it Brad and Angie hooking up has been THE best thing for Jen's career. Her acting is beyond boring. She couldn't carry a movie herself is her life depended on it. She put career before marriage and family and now she's got what she wants.. her career is going somewhere. Brad and Angie have the life they want with their kids . If anything Jen should be thanking them not whining. Get over it already.

15. I would have more respect for these liars if they were just honest. Brad. "Oh no we didnt hook up til after we broke up." Angie" I would never do that cause my daddy did that to my mommy and I would never able to look at myself in the mirror." Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff.
