While tons of powerful celebs can't seem to pay or starpower their way into a hotel anywhere close to Obama's inauguration, the former face of the Psychic Friends Network somehow locked up one of the primest spots in DC.

Not only is Dionne Warwick hosting the American Music Inaugural Ball at the Marriott Wardman Park -- she booked one of the best rooms they have to offer ... we checked.

Heard she stopped smoking. She sang "That's what friends are for" in Turkey last year. Sounds better than she did 10 yrs ago. Proof that pro singers need to stay away from smokes, crack, and the weed. =)

11. There are over 600 hotel rooms available in the DC area right now, and 12,000 within a 200 mile radius of DC, so quit with the "no rooms nonsense"...they may have jacked the price up some, but they'll come back down with each passing day they are not sold.

Its all Negroes in buses from down South, Detroit, Cleveland and Chicago,anyway who are going to this thing and most of them will be sleeping on the parked buses with sleeping bags..you can look it up---so whats the big deal? They dont mind the sleeping arrangements, they're just glad to be there and to be welcoming a black man as our president. Warwick and Russell Simmons are uppity types so they're out looking for Suites that are hard to come by and being charged rip off prices.
