When you're in the same Oscar category as Sean Penn, Mickey Rourke, Frank Langella and some guy named Brad Pitt, it's bound to give you an inferiority complex -- just ask Richard Jenkins, the fifth dude nominated for "Best Actor."
1. No reason for him to have an inferiority complex. Absolutely none; at least if he takes a close look at the lives of three of his competitors; which he probably wouldn't do, because he is a gentleman. He'll show up at the oscars and be a good sport.

4. Heck, he deserves to win more than Douche Pitt, he really deserves the nom, not just cause his name is famous and he is shacking up with the baby cooleter.

5. He's like William H. Macy, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, and John C. Riley before they got their breakout roles and subsequent Oscar nods; a great actor with a consistently strong body of work, but you just can't remember in what movies. But his prognosis isn't looking too good... no middle name.

6. This actor definitely deserves to be nominated and perhaps win but of course he won't win. This movie was one of the best of the year. Kristin Scott-Thomas should have also been nominated. Atleast he got nominated. See the movie if you havn't yet. One of the best. Why didn't Clint get nominated? He was excellent in Gran Torino. Just too many good movies out this time I guess. Hope Slumdog Millionaire wins best picture (hope that guy shown above who is in Slumdog doesn't hog the stage and time again - what a jerk - let the two young stars shine and talk this time!). Hope Mickey wins best actor although Sean Penn is so talented.
