Surley it should be an eight figure amount?

I don't think that things such as the giving of birth is something that should be capitalized. Isn't anything sacred anymore? I mean I know Octomom is strapped for cash and everything, but it's just wrong. People need to have morals, and stop acting like a bunch of morons.

Every single penny of that money needs to be refunded to the State of California for all the medical/welfare/foodstamp money that woman has been "stealing". I am all for the freedoms that this country allows, even the one's that generate stupid decision's such as the one's she made, but this system only works when the "individual" has some form of Social Responsibility. That is where she really let all of us down. She threw out all sense of "social responsibility" and certainly wasn't thinking about anybody but herself. She definitely wasn't thinking about the 6 children she already had that were being primarily supported by the taxpayer's and her own family. Truly pathetic..

I notice when a comment is posted, TMZ always changes the numbers, for example #125 can change to #123, then later change to #128 and so on.. I think it's best to always the list the name of the poster when responding back. TMZ sucks.

oh please people. we all sit here reading up on this crap and stay in everyone's business 24/7 (thank you tmz) and you 90% of you people say you WON'T be watching it?? The State of California should seize all of her assets and put them toward her medicaid bills, food stamps and the fraudulent disability she received. The state should take all of the children from this irresponsible media money-hungry whore and put her in jail.

This woman makes me sick to my stomach. She obviously had some sort of plan for exploiting her children from day 1 as she even had the birthing filmed. Plain and simple... if ya can't afford the ones ya got, then DON'T HAVE ANY MORE!!! If one can support an abnormally large family (such as the Duggar family of Arkansas with 18 children ) then wonderful.. have a couple dozen, share the love. But if you are already on welfare then having 8 more children... sorry.. being artificially inseminated with 8 children when you already have 6 is so irresponsible. Can you say attention whore? What is the world coming to when people will go to such extremes for some extra cash? She, obviously, already having the first 6, had a plan for some cash. I doubt she had thought of the negative exposure both she and her children would get, as well as the effects of such exposure on their lives. Who knows, maybe she thought it would get her sympathy and free stuff ... people seeing this 'poor' single woman with 14 kids, especially when she can't keep her first 6 in line. That should have been a clue if you already have children you cannot handle to not have any more until the first ones are taken care of. How was she able to have 6 in the first place? Why did welfare not step in somewhere along the way and say enough is enough since she obviously can't take care of the ones she already had? I can only feel sorry for her children. All i can think of is all of those poor children are going to be treated like a circus sideshow probably for the rest of their lives. This is all just so terribly sad. This is why there are such procedures as sterilization!! So to the sad excuse for a mother ; you should be ashamed, and i hope that your money-hungry ways will not warp your children and make them like you! What is going to happen to these poor children once the media tires of them?

I am deeply saddened at the rather quick and harsh judgment of this women. None of the public has lived her life-therefore I highly recomend we suspend judgement. For those of you who profess to be Christian, perhaps it is time to open your Bible and read through the New Testament. How many times has Christ warned against judging others? How about we all take the "log" out of our eyes before judging her for a "splinter"? Remember there is only one God, and the job is already taken.
