Ziggy Marley Hurts Knee -- Can't Get Up, Stand Up

Ziggy Marley learned the hard way -- sometimes charity hurts.

Bob's kid was playin' in a celebrity soccer match in L.A. Saturday, when he busted his knee so badly, he needed assistance to get off the field.

Launch PhotosTMZ spoke with Marley's rep who told us, "He's walking around on crutches and has bandages on his knee."

Ziggy has a date with the doc this afternoon -- no word on what kind of medicinal products he's using to help with the pain.

13. hope he's ok, the marley's are a very generous family for a lot of organizations. Bob himself did a LOT of free concerts, to help the people. GIVE THANKS to them for being so giving and positive. Rasta is positive and i'm sure his father would be very proud of him today.
