Wow. Just looking for an excuse to vent your hatred for whites, huh?
Are you familiar with this woman? How do you know if she can be trusted?

Are you aware of this quote? - "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life,” Judge Sotomayor

And if a white male had stated he would make better decisions than a black Woman, what would happen to him?

Whatever happened to following the rule of law and the Constitution?

Can you answer those questions or are you just here to spew your white-hatred and racism?

Obama is the man he is finally showing all of America that positions of power are not reserved for old white men. We got a brother for President,a brother for Attorney General, a brother for Chief of Staff, a brother in charge of NASA. And soon we will have A Latina on the Supreme Court

#39 whatever

Don't be a word-twisting idget like the rest of the liberals out there. Limbaugh said (although no one will ever read you the whole quote) that he wanted to see Obama's policies fail--not the country--the liberal socialist policies. He said if Obama leads us into socialism with socialist policies he wants it to very much to fail. That is no different than people who couldn't see Bush in any sort of positive light either. You all whined and cried and laughed and sneered any time the guy tried anything. There is no difference here. Grow up. You have Obama. He won, we lost. Good on him. This is a terrible choice for SC nominee on so many levels but at the forefront, is her claim that judges are there to MAKE POLICY.

I love how whenever Republicans don't like a candidate it's racist, but it wasn't racist when Democrats decried the nomination of Clarence Thomas: oh, no, all of a sudden it was on "intellectual merits" that they didn't want him. Spare me.

Fan Since 2007!!!

Waaaayyy back during the campaign I made this prediction: Obama will turn on his white supporters the way Oprah turned on hers by by snubbing Sarah Palin. And now Obama's nominated a Latina who openly boasts she's more qualified to be a justice simply because she's a Latina and noboody blinks.

Welcome to the nightmare that will be Obama's America...

The first woman was appointed to the SCOTUS by a Republican president. The first Black man as Secretary of State then the first Black woman were both appointed by a Republican president. UNLIKE NOW, the cabinet was well represented by minorities under a Republican administration. Now a latino woman is being considered for the SCOTUS and people are acting like they never been there before or that this is some monumental event.

She can thrill me if swears to FOLLOW THE LAW OF THE LAND instead of trying to make law as she once suggested the judiciary do. That is dangerous stuff. Some slept through this lecture in high school but it's time to catch up on the American constittution. Did anybody see My Cousin Vinnie. Imagine if Vinnie was going against a rogue prosecutor and a rogue judge who made up laws as they saw fit because they did not like Italians. Although the legal shows we have come to love are based on hollywood fantasy, they are fairly technically close. Think about your favorite episodes and imagine those judges making up the laws instead of following them.

This is not about race or ethnicity but unfortunately it will be. It is about qualification. Somebody is playing games. Can you guess who?? She needs to be vetted properly. Folks better wake up. Oh, BTW, for Blacks and Latinos, this affects you too.

I want to see another woman nominated, especially since Ruth Bader Ginzberg may re retiring soon. It would be great if the next nominee was Latino or Black. They are out there. Our country can handle it even though an attempt will be made to convince us that opposing this person would be racist. It is not. Re-read the first sentence.

I can just picture Obama wiping his brow in relief if she's appointed. That whole birth certificate-legal status thing will finally be dead and buried

what a retarded article. It would have good if it was true, But to just do these comparisons is a waste of space. Clearly TMZ needs to dig in more celebrity trash cans or invade more privacy.
