Mickey Rourke rebuilt his damaged career by playing "The Wrestler" ... and he doesn't have the scars to prove it.

Here's the 31-year-old back in 1984 (left) -- and 25 years later, the 56-year-old version earlier this year (right).

He's as good as new.

52. Definately Docs --- or could it have med students? As to Commenter #7 Add Michael Jackson to the top of the list of the worst butchered.

By the way, Rourke was shown on a video clip a couple of weeks back in an outdoor cafe with a bird on his shoulder. My question is when did he get the tat on the right side of his neck, and why there?

53. I hate this website and the show that goes with it. Your ignorant, money grubbing photographer Ricardo Mendoza is suing Britney Spears for accidentally running over his foot. He tried to auction his shoe off online, also. The lack of quality journalism or respect given to the subjects is extraordinarily disgusting. Your people commenting upon people's appearance and their general demeanor when they, themselves, have not done anything in their lives accept suck the marrow of the stars they covet. You are what give photographers, the same the killed Princess Diana, a terrible reputation.
