8. I didn't know she lost a child! How horrible. My grandmother had to watch 3 of her 6 kids go before she finally went (and they were adults). She lost a little of her spark with every loss. Hope Susan has a supportive family. She looks really good.

12. The guys who write the stories on this site are nuts. I think you do it just to get reactions. Her eyes are alive - much more than mine at the moment! She classy and beautiful. She's always handled herself with dignity. Glad to see her looking so happy. Miss her on tv.

14. her young son died in a plane crash in 2004. her husband and another son survived but were seriously injured.
i think she's a remarkable lady. still looks amazing too! would like to see more of people like her rather than trash like "speidi".
