35. They must have been running out of celebrities that wanted to be at the memorial. Brooke Shields for God's sakes. MJ himself said that "Brooke Shields and I are not that close."

41. You people out there who choose to judge others remember one day you also will be judged. Regardless to what you think this man was loved by family and friends. There are so many haters regardless to what your station is in life. You need to check yourself. Move on.

43. Why are so many people down on Brooke for being there? They were exceptionally close when they were young teenagers. They even dated for a while...she was his date to one of the MTV awards shows back in the 80s. It would be weird if she WASN'T there to remember someone she cared about.


And she and Magic are smiling because not everything at a memorial is supposed to be darkness and gloom. You also remember the light and laughter that you shared with a person, the happiness in their lives, and that they brought to yours. Even Magic's speech made the audience laugh, because he was reminiscing about one of the happy memories he has of Michael.


So many jerks out there who want to make a mockery of people for not behaving how YOU think they ought to, grieving how YOU think they ought to. Well, it's their grief, their memories, and they can damn well share them however makes their hearts feel right.
