To What? I think you are thinking of Ray Combs the host in the late 80s who committed suicide.
Richard Dawson was always so much fun to watch on the Feud. So much kissing.

I cringe every time I see him kiss those young girls on The Game Show Network (reruns of Family Feud). I heard his current wife forbid him to kiss any more women when they got married.. Thank God!

Richard Dawson is alive and well. If anybody watched the Game Show Awards on GSN about a month and a half ago, Richard showed up in a tribute to Mark Goodson. Richard Dawson is not dead, he's only just a recluse since his Feud '94 days, just like Johnny Carson. He just shies away from the spotlight.
Also, TMZ...This picture is quite a few years old. Get a newer picture if you want to do something like this.

Nah, I knew it was Combs that killed himself. But I thought Dawson had died before that and that's why they needed a new host in the first place. That's why I was so surprised to see this. I thought he was dead for 20 years. Seriously.
