Here's "Gossip Girl" star Taylor Momsen (left) performing at some event last week -- and the legendary Prince back in the early 1980s (right).


One of them was 16-years-old when the photo was taken.

Prince grew up, matured and moved on. He capatlized on being "different" when it was still en vogue and, again, matured. Mikey tried being freaky until the age of 50. Prince is still here.

First off, TMZ, that picture of Prince is from around 80-81, not even close to the Purple Rain time-frame, get it right if you're going to publish it.

I can't believe that they would allow someone her age to perform in public like that. Her parents are turning that trick out early!
