# 11 - Gastric bypass is not cheating your way to being thin, It is for a lot of people a last resort to failed diets, It is not the fix to losing weight just a tool, If anything I think it is harder to do, These people give up a lot to lose the weight, I had the surgery and am happy I did it, I lost 215 pounds, But in no way is this an easy way out, It is a way out to a very controlling addiction, Just like smoking, drinking, etc. Just my opinion .
