Jamie McCourt -- I'm Not Giving Up the Dodgers

10/27/2009 7:16 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

In Jamie McCourt's divorce documents filed against her husband Frank, she is challenging Frank's statement that he is the sole owner of the Dodgers -- claiming she's been bamboozled.

Jamie McCourt

In the docs, Jamie says they faced a "myriad of creditors" and for that reason certain assets were held solely by Frank -- notably the Dodgers.

Jamie says when she signed the agreements giving away her rights to the Dodgers, she was not represented by legal counsel. Jamie demands that the court declare "that any purported capital Marital Property Agreements are null, void, and unenforceable."

Furthermore, Jamie says the homes she and Frank had were held by her solely -- not as community property.

In the docs, Jamie also adds, "Frank and I always considered the real estate to be our property -- just like the Dodgers."

She's a lawyer and is claiming she "was not represented by counsel"? That's some weak sauce.

I'm not sure which divorce law applies, since they were married on the East Coast and now live in California. California is notoriously a total 50-50 community property state, unless you have a valid pre-nup. I doubt they had one, since they were married for 30 years and knew each other in college. His dad had money, but so did hers. They made all their money as partners, in CA eyes. I read she wanted to own a baseball team since she was a little girl. He always wanted a team, too. But I think they're going to have to split all assets, and to do that, sell the team. They may not be rich enough on their own to buy each other out, or one or both may refuse to sell their share. As it is, they don't get along at all and their being involved with the team is bad for the Dodgers, bad for LA, and bad for baseball.

It is so sad that the person you once loved and believed in can try to hurt you so much. It sounds like this applies to both. It is a very difficult time for them.

So the Dodgers are part hers even though she signed a paper giving them to her husband. Yet, all the property is hers only despite marital joint ownership laws. Makes sense I'm sure...

Hey Lamar, this is what you got to look forward to. If you think Khloe is any different than this chick you are wrong. They can all turn on the bitch-switch at any second. You still haven't pulled the trigger and legally married her, your conscience must be telling you something. Listen to it.
