Sorry folks but your months of monopolizing these boards with only MJfan and MJfanatics comments are going to come to a grinding halt. Your days of running people with dissenting opinions off, cloning and threatening, harrassing and beating down their opinions are OVER.

Klein's point about the open IV was a good one Why would the EMT's need to find a good vein if there was an open IV? Are Harvey's sources blowing smoke up his butt?
The other thing that made no sense is why wasn't a port put in if Michael was getting nightly IVs of propofol instead of putting a new line in each time? Starting an IV isn't easy for someone not trained. Also if someone has small veins or his veins roll, It can taken numerous tries to get a vein and the person can wind up looking like a pin cushion.

It was an unfortunate situation. But it was a situation that could have been avoided.

I really wish Harvey would have shut his mouth when Dr. Klein was trying to talk towards the end, It seems like he had something that he wanted to get out... It seems like TMZ cut off the last part of the interview, "Where's The Rest"???? I do not think Dr. Klein is lying, What would he have to gain, surely his lawyers advised him not to do the interview but evidentally Klein has nothing to hide and wants the world to know a few things.
Now about the peeing in the cup thing, Uhmm if I were a very famous person and I didn't want to get mobbed by fans in a waiting room while trying to walk to the bathroom, I would most likely pea in a cup or a sink or whatever was available... Now about peeing in front of people, uhhmm I never close the bathroom door at home when Im on the toilet so I guess I pee in front of my family and friends too. lol.....

EXCELLENT point! Why not a 'port' or at least a hep lock. You'd be surprised though. I work in a hospital setting & when we need an IV placed that we as RN's can't get it in, we have to call the 'IV team'. This is a group of nurses who respond to pages for this purpose, as well as, placing 'Port O'Caths',etc.(IV that can be left in for very long periods of time usually for long-term IV antibiotic therapy). I had one of these myself about a year ago & they are about the next best thing to peanut butter! lol. They can be cared for at home rather simply & patients can be taught how to administer their own meds thru it. Possibly MJ had something like this & Murray definitely would have pulled it out before paramedics arrived to eliminate the inevitable questioning this would have elicited. Also if the IV team cannot place the IV, then usually a surgeon or anesthesiologist has to be called. You'd think any MD would be able to put in an IV but that just isn't the case.
In the autopsy they speak of needle marks in the neck. When they speak of this, they could mean slightly below the clavicle or collar bone. This is a frequently used site for what is called a 'subclavian IV' or it could have just been a site that the ER personnel tried during the resuscitation efforts. Also, you notice that in TII, I don't believe MJ ever was seen in short sleeve shirts. Doesn't make much sense does it? The stage lights would have been HOT, not to mention all the dancing? He should have been burning up. IV needle marks of course would be a logical explanation for this.
