It's no surprise "Gossip Girl" star Taylor Momsen is often dressed inappropriately for a 16-year-old ... because her mother dresses younger than she does.
Decked out in Miley Cyrus shades, a Selena Gomez jacket, a Demi Lovato t-shirt, Dakota Fanning pants and a pair of Mary-Kate Olsen boots, Taylor's adult mother Collette accompanied her more matronly-attired teen spawn to the NYC set of her TV series on Wednesday.

Ever wonder why your kids hate you? its disgusting those arent jeans they are sweats, Alexander Wang shoes are meant for 20 year old trend setters not haggard old fashion victims. And that coat, ugh don't get me started other than being ugly as hell, it also has no business with the rest of the "outfit" .. it's not just a matter of age appropriateness, its about TASTE or clear lack there of.

You guys are being too harsh!! She's a pretty, youthful woman who's dressed very appropriately. I'm probably that old and I wear jeans and a tee shirt with boots and leather jacket all the time! Come on. She looks good. Can we say "Maybe someones jealous?"

While I think they look more silly than anything, I think the mom should grow up and act and dress her age and set an example, instead of trying to recapture her teen's again. This woman apparently does not want to grow up and in a while, the daughter is going to get tired of her mom trying to look like her.
