Prince and Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson's two oldest children, have been sweating over addressing the audience at tonight's Special Merit Awards ceremony .. where their dad will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Joe Jackson tells TMZ Prince and Paris have each prepared a speech. Joe says they are both great speakers and Paris has been working on her speech for a week.
As for the buzz that the kids will perform at the Grammys on Sunday: Joe says it ain't happening.

we really don't believe anything TMZ says or posts anymore. You lie because MJ stories are the only thing that gets your website any hits. All about MJ! What would you do without him, HA!
How much did you guys pay Joe Jackson for that information? Tsk tsk tsk.
A Lifetime Achievement Award - too bad Michael Jackson couldn't have finished his lifetime. He certainly crammed a lot into the life he had though. I will be glued to my TV set this year and, if his kids are there live or on video, what a tremendous honor for us to witness the occasion. I'm sure their dad would be so very proud of them even though he protected them ferociously from being in the spotlight. Michael Jackson and his music will live on, despite comments borne only from ignorance and hate. We could all learn from his messages, his charity and his songs of humanity (as we will see on Sunday). I feel very fortunate to have been a part of his generation; very sad he wasn't able to complete his dreams. RIP Michael Jackson.
God Bless Prince, Paris and Blanket. I am thrilled to be able to see their maturity and hear the words they have to share about their father. They ARE Michael's living legacies. God Bless them!
Much L.O.V.E. to MJ3
i am sure they will make mj proud..they are a testiment to what a truly wonderful father he was

They say Mj was odd and all, but the funny thing is, he was the only normal and good person in the jackson family. poor kids, I wish they had their dad back.
Good luck KIDS, you are the best!
LOVE YOU MICHAEL, i know you are taking good care of them both =)
