The new "We Are the World" video debuted before the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony last night. The song brought together the biggest names in music -- including Jamie Foxx, Lionel Richie, Tony Bennett, Jennifer Hudson and Gladys Knight -- but it was 15-year-old Justin Bieber who got the coveted opening verse of the song.
Didn't realize they were doing it in size order.
Seriously though -- go to wearetheworldfoundation.org to donate.

this was tailored for kids, and so good luck with getting help from them.
the original version was pure talent and good music.
this one is barnyard music overall.
you all are ridiculous. Grow up and open up your damn eyes. This video was not made to "compete" with the old. It was not made to show case that "big stars" it was made to bring everyone together. I am not a justin beiber fan and really dont know anything about him except that he was a part of a great thing. so really open your eyes up to the bigger reason and maybe you should find something better to do with your life than criticizing those trying to make this world better.
WHAT THE HECK Justin beiber? lil wayne? Pfftt really? my god...where is Mariah and Whitney at least?? Never will be up to par with the original. of course the best part was Michael.
I LOVE YOU MICHAEL! XOX
Michael should have been involved with this:(
Celine Dion and Jenifer Hudson were really good.
I still prefer the original. There was no autotuner and no Justin Bieber! Ugh!
Yeah I agree...the new version sucked. Justin Beiber... OMG quick, I gotta get to the mall.
I thought that was great.. a mix of everyone singing it.. u last ppl that comment obviously dont get the point of the song or anything... It was awesome they all got together to do it. It sounded great :)
"...the biggest names in music -- including Jamie Foxx, Lionel Richie, Tony Bennett, Jennifer Hudson and Gladys Knight"
WHAT !!?! I surely hope you were being sarcastic.
They should have come up with a new song for Haiti to all 'sing together' with... you can't remake a classic but at least it's for a good cause...
THIS JUSTIN BIEBER CANNOT SING IN MY OPINION. SOME OF THEM SINGING SOUND LIKE THEY WERE SCREAMING OF WERE OFF KEY. THIS VERSION IS NOT AND WILL NOT BE AS GOOD AS THE FIRST ONE. HOPE THEY MAKE THE MONEY FOR HAITI LIKE THEY WANT.
