TMZ has learned former Warrant singer Jani Lane just plead no contest to DUI stemming from his most recent arrest back in May -- and has been ordered to serve 120 days in jail. 
As we first reported, the '80s rocker -- who was also busted for DUI in 2009 -- was arrested in Woodland Hills, CA on May 9 after crashing into a parked car ... and then blowing twice the legal limit during a breathalyzer test.
Besides the jail time -- Lane will lose his license for three years and will have to complete a 30-month alcohol education program.
We're told Jani is scheduled to surrender on July 27.

Apparently he is considered a persona non grata in the higher echelon entertainment community, otherwise he would have gotten a slap on the hand and a fine, like most other celebs. Or maybe it is because he is a "Z" list celeb, who is like the rest of us, gets charged and jailed.

Sounds like he doesn't have the money or fame to keep him outta jail. Those other celebs can just about kill a person and get off with 2 months probation and a $49 fine........

It's a shame to see what has happened to him, his addiction has gotten the best of him, he lost his wife, his band and his dignity. Maybe 4 months in jail will do him some good. They really need to make sure he does rehab or it will just happen again. Best wishes to you Jani!

Why didn't Lindsay get this type of sentence with 2 DUI's, carjacking, chasing another vehicle at high rates of speed, running over someone's foot, etc.

I agree, this is the type of sentence that Lindsay SHOULD have gotten. It doesn't make sense to me OTHER than b/c she's "Lindsay" she was able to get a slap on the wrist basically.

@ #11 , actually he is 46 years old, from the looks of that pic TMZ posted i bet he thinks that microphone is an ice cream, good grief man, same thing is happening to Vince Neil, just like everybody else, if they live, they get old and flabby.
Money is an evil thing, but hey i'm sure he will have plenty of cherry pies in jail.
