While initially paid $30K an episode for her voice work as Marge on "The Simpsons," Julie now reportedly makes $400K an episode.
Although unmarried, Kavner has been with her partner David Davis since the '70s.
Julie Kavner is and always has been one of my Fave's. From Rhoda to the Woody Allen films, to the Tracey Ulman show, she is consistently funny, but also seems so genuinely warm and real.
You guys should have had a picture of Marge Simpson when you clicked to see Julie "All Growed Up" . I often think Julie is a very fortunate woman, "Marge Simpson was a role of a life time and must have made her very very comfortable financially. Her Voice skills are superior. More power to her!
What's up with the "partner" crap? We need to stop placating gays and lesbians. Partner? This ain't the frigging wild wild west.
RHODA is among the funniest 1/2 hr sitcoms in the history of TV. Rhoda, Brenda & Ida were hysterical together - they did not need any other cast members - the trio was enough to keep you in hysterics without help from anyone else. Shows like Rhoda can never be duplicated because the people in it were all one of a kind from broken molds.

So, you're assuming "David" is a girl? What a sad little thing you are. She's merely living in sin. Get over yourself.
OMFG, justsaying, have you left your house in the last 40 years. On second thought, just stay where you are and don't ever, ever leave.
@#5 - Just Saying - not that I am placating gays and lesbians; nor do think that equal rights is placating - Julie's partner is named DAVID DAVIS according to this article. You really ought to look up the word partner, and put your prejudices aside. People can have long term, happy, fulfilling relationships for decades - and not be gay.
I think what JustSaying meant was...in this day of political correctness...must we always use the word "partner" to refer to someone's 'significant other', especially in a heterosexual relationship! Whatever happened to just calling him her guy...or her boyfriend? So overly-senstive.
Hilarious. In trying to explain why it is awkward to use "partner" you refer to a "significant other."

She is not living in sin. You are living in a fallacy.
