'Office' Star -- 'It Sucks' Steve Carell Is Leaving

10/29/2010 2:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Mindy Kaling -- who plays Kelly Kapoor on "The Office" -- is pretty bummed out that Steve Carell is leaving the show after this season ... telling us, "It sucks."

Steve Carell leaving The Office
Kaling was leaving a Links of London event in L.A. last night -- adding, "I'm sad [Steve] is going to leave."

But the question is ... without Michael Scott ...

If you don't like the fumbling idiot style of comedy, then Steve Carell won't appeal to you.

I noticed several comments about Carell and these folks simply don't appreciate what he's trying to do. Maybe they want to watch a fake Hollywood character who is Mr. cool guy. Honestly, his take on the dumb-and-dumber style is great.

There are many who hate Jim Carey, Ben Stiller, Rowan Atkinson, Will Farrel, Steve Carell, etc. because it's not their taste. Some hate Monty Python while others love it. Who's right? Is there a right and wrong when it comes to comedy, or is it all about personal taste?

Frankly, I hate the black ghetto idiots who can barely speak English...those comedians are un-funny.

Back to The Office: There should be no romance, no weddings, no babies, no Jim & Pam bull****, no Kelly Kapur dancing, no singing, no Dwight overacting.

I get quite sick of Mindy Kaling's style...she has ruined countless episodes. Her character (Kapur) is a mirror reflection of herself, it's never funny, it's only annoying. If she pretends to be funny, pretty or sexy again, I might destroy a lamp or small chair. That also includes her dumb-ass slang.

The Office is still watchable, but Kaling needs to knock off the gay crap, Novak needs to step it up, Wilson needs to be less theatrical, Carell needs to be more embarrassing, Fischer needs to put a sock in it, Krasinski needs to care less about everything...like the first season.

The manner in which the characters have developed is the annoying part. Does a comedy like this require character development at all? I don't think so. If they continued using the same cavalier character profiles from season 1, I would be pleased. To much character depth makes it into a drama.

Steve Carell is by far the worst thing about the office as he just isn't funny (actually he is funny for the first 5 minsm but very quickly becomes annoying so if you've ever seen any movie or tv show with him in you've already seen his full comedy repetoire done to death).

Maybe the show will get good again without him ruining every episode.
