With her parents in the middle of a divorce, underage Disney pop princess Miley Cyrus, 17, threw back a Corona cerveza at a club in Madrid, Spain last night ... where the legal drinking age is technically 18 -- but there's a catch.
TMZ contacted several Spanish authorities who each confirmed the law ... and then made it clear that underage drinking is simply no big deal in their country.
One police officer told us ... people as young as 16 are cool to consume "certain" beverages in Madrid -- but the cop refused to explain what those beverages are.
In that case: Salud!

I say let Capri Anderson be Capri Anderson...oh wait, that's Disney's Miley Cyrus?
Where are her parents? I guess they're too involved with their own problems to worry about her. This isn't good...
she's turning to alcohol cause her parents are going through a divorce. still doesn't make it right, cause if she went to amsterdam and smoked weed it still wouldn't be right even if its legal there
LOL at 2. She looks really cute here to bad she is trying to grow up to fast. Beer is lame, and drunk people are even more lame.
Anyone else remember this People cover?

They did that cover to slam Brittany's parents, now look at who is turning out just like Brittany. Haha.
The general rule in Europe is that you can consume beer and wine at the age of 16, hard liquor at 18.
So what? she'll be lezzing it up by the time she's 19. We'll all have access to it via the internet just as soon as the tape is made.
She is grown and has been working forever, let her drink if she wants too.
she will not end up like firecrotch.
Americans are making way too much of a big deal out of drinking under 21. You can go to war at 18, drive a car at 16, yet you have to wait till you're 21 to drink legally. That's just INSANE. I'm glad I grew up in Europe where people's relationship with booze is generally healthier.
I am from Vienna/Austria....in Europe you are legally allowed to drink beer and smoke from age 16. Only the "hard stuff" like Whiskey etc. is only allowed at age 18. Its really different than in the US where drinking is allowed when you are 21.
Cheers! ;-)
Nice grip. Bet that's not the first time she's used that grip. All right, you weirdos, I'm talking about on a bottle.
