No, you are not the only one, I could of sworn I read of his death years ago. I was stunned to see this.

He was married to Patty Duke and the actors are their sons.

Raul Julia who played Gomez Addams in the movie is the one that died.

Number 3 - there was always a question as to whether Sean and McKenzie were really John Astin's sons.........

I thought for sure he was dead! Nice holloween teeth though.

I saw him do a one man play about Edgar Allen Poe about 5 years ago and he was brilliant!

Had forgotten about that. William Tell was actually Sean's biological father but Astin adopted him. Mackenzie was theirs together.

Wow, I Thought he died like 20 years ago.
