It was funny then, because he had at least been (supposedly) clean a few years when he said it. But to make a joke like that two weeks into his out-patient rehab, suggests that he clearly does not take his addiction seriously enough. There was a time when I was nostalgic for old Charlie because he was easy, young, fun, hot, dewy and dry humored; and sober Charlie tried to hard to funny and looked a bit desiccated and boney. How is it possible to look worse off drugs than on? But now I realize it's not the drugs that made him more appealing, it was his youth.
Go Charlie! Good job on getting out there in the day light and away from your porn den! Now stay freakin clean, get healthy and less ugly (crack face) and go back to work. Then...don't go party yourself to death, geez!
