Katt is exactly right. There may be people who don't wish to believe in God or the afterlife, that doesn't make it any less real. Hawkings may be considered a genius by a few people but it doesn't take one to figure out God is there.

THE aliens are out there and Earth had better watch out, at least according to Stephen Hawking. He has suggested that extraterrestrials are almost certain to exist — but that instead of seeking them out, humanity should be doing all it that can to avoid any contact.

Perhaps Stephen Hawkings should talk to Dr. Brian Weiss another formerly skeptical man of science who's published much proof that not only is there an after life there are more lives each of us lives than there are years that Hawkings has lived his present life.
And, it all gives meaning to, and a clear reason as to why people are born afflicted with such diseases, or live otherwise challenging & grossly difficult lives.

As for Cameron - he's just another lost, pathetic sheep who for whatever insecurities needs to be a part of one of the all too many cults in this world that are fundamentalist religion. Part cult, part social club where one can go to find other people who have no foundation of faith that is their own, unique to them as the universe is unique to each of us in the infinite.
