She probably sent TMZ the news so that she could get some sort of press out of this since she is confined to her house and cannot go out and have her picture taken and she is in WITHDRAWL for some sort attention at this point! What a TRAINWRECK! I am so ROOTING FOR EMMA STONE to take over roles the Lohan might've been/being considered for, she is a much more deserving human being than Lohan!

I consider sunning and reading a vacation...not house arrest! They should make her contribute to society for her punishment- go dig a ditch or pick up trash on the highway----sheesh!

Malfunction always the same story with her!!! Lame, my brother had one on and they took him in!!! He was stuck there till they realized it was there fault!! She loves pushing the limits of what she can get away with. It'll happen again. And then they'll know it wasn't a malfunction. (Doesn't sound like they are positive it was this time.)

This has nothing to do with Lindsay giving TMZ any info. It was first reported by the LA Times and they said the same thing...Bum Equipment! But TMZ can't resist posting BS about Lindsay, its how they get their hits/quota hits/money!!

I thought she wasn't allowed on the roof, had to be confined to the "interior" of the house? In the car, the news said when probation arrived she was on the couch, watching TV and "reading scripts" So TMZ, which is it?

House arrest in a house large enough to make the ankle bracelet loses its signal. Lol. Quite plausible actually, especially if there was a lot of metal between her and the base station.
