Weston Cage -- I'll PROVE I'm Not Mentally Ill

7/18/2011 3:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Weston Cage wants to make sure everyone knows he's playing with a full deck -- and his foolproof way of doing that ... is by taking up cage fighting.

0717_weston_cage_vdeo_ex
Cage told our photog he's training to be a UFC fighter and his dream fight would be against the massive Kimbo Slice. Weston explains that part of the reason he wants to do this is because, "I just wanna prove to people I am not mentally ill ... You can't get accepted into UFC if you are mentally unstable."

There's gotta be a better way.

Oh god don't bring Kimbo Slice back. Also pick someone that can fight. Kimbo isn't cut out for cage fighting and it's just asking for an easy win.

Weston doesn't need to prove any such thing to any of us. I like this guy, he has a certain warmth about him, he's unique, intelligent, and quite entertaining, and YES, very cute. When people are a part of the whole Hollywood scene, and as smart as this guy is, there will always be someone, who wants to drag them down. I say "screw em" Weston, for every bit of publicity you get, OWN IT! Personally I think you and your lovely bride should be talking to an agent that gets you both your own reality series. People love to watch you, so why not "charge" em to? Best of wishes to you and Nikki, and of course, your newest "reason" {baby Cage} to BE.

And if what we saw in the street is any example of how Wes fights he is going to get his ass kicked.

Idiot. Kimbo is not even 'IN' UFC.
This guy needs to go away.

Oh, also, the guy is 'wearing' martial arts belts as a dress accessory? That tells you a lot about him right there.
'And' he pulls them out and waves them to the camera for some kind of 'validation'?
That tells you even more.

Sorry, Cage, it's NOT like the movies vs real life.

Hey Weston the voices in your head are telling you to go kill yourself, do you hear them?

Yes, because it's very mentally-stable to enter an arena where you will be punched in the head repeatedly, just to make a point.

I do believe the man was misquoted; he meant to say, "You cannot be accepted into UFC if you are mentally stable."

To all you childish people with your negative comments towards someone you do not even know, you all need to grow up and get a life, maybe yours is a bit boring, that will explain why you have to criticize a total strangers life.

Every marriage and relationship has its ups and downs as i am sure you all know, so just leave it be. How would you like the media in your face and watching your every move? i would imagine it will be rather annoying.

So what if he wants to do cage fighting to prove a point, its HIS LIFE not yours and like you really care if he hurts himself in any event so why the hell do you waste your time even reading about him.
