New Penn State President

University 'Must Move Forward'

Despite Child Abuse Scandal

Penn State's brand new President Rodney Erickson just released a video statement, claiming the University "must move forward" despite the school's recent devastating child abuse scandal.

In the video -- posted moments ago on Penn State's YouTube channel -- Erickson says, "This has been one of the saddest weeks in the history of Penn State, and my heart goes out to those who have been victimized. I share your anger and sorrow."

Erickson -- who replaced former Prez Graham Spanier this week following the scandal -- continues, "Although we cannot go back to business as usual, our University must move forward. We are a community. Our work is as vital as ever."

Erickson adds, "We remain committed to our core values and we will rebuild the trust, honor, and pride that have endured for generations."

Rumor has it Jerry Sandusky was running a pedophile ring on campus and if that is true who knows who else was involved and why everyone kept quiet for years.

This could go all the way up to the President ...of Penn State.

Might explain why he's in such a rush to "move forward".

Bottom Line

They need to do some major house cleaning before they can move and get rid of all those who were involved with tarnishing the schools image.

It will be interesting to see if there will be murder charges or even a continued investigation associated with the cover-up. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2060...027/Ray-Gricar-disappeared-2005-tried-bring-sex-abuse-case-Penn-States-Jerry-Sandusky.html

Bottom Line

It's also going to be hard to rebuild trust, honor and pride for the school considering Sandusky used Penn State as his own personal playground.

Not enough remorse PSU. Time to cancel the football season. If you don't, NO ONE will forgive you!!!

This azzhole Rodney Erickson is something else. How can anything 'move forward' (aka Let it be forgotten, get this out of the headlines) until all the investigations are completed.

This is the exact same thinking that caused this horror. When you look at the money that the college football program brings into the school, you'll have a better idea. They will protect the "team" at almost any cost.

SICK, SICK, SICK!
