Hell, I tripped over my dog who is pure black and liked to sleep on the top of the stairs. Didn't see him and I went down a full flight of stairs to the basement. Luckily I didn't break anything (thank god for banisters) but needless to say 2 days later when all the black and blues showed up and felt like a baseball bat was taken to me, it happens.
