That guy totally changed my viewpoint of him..I use to think he was nothing but a spoiled SOB. Way to be human Christian. If you ever get a chance, watch the movie "Emperor of the Sun" starring Christian Bale at about 13 or 14 years old. It was a movie about a British kid getting seperated from his parent's during world war II and how he struggles and grows. I think it was directed by Steven Spielberg. Great movie.

So happy to see this. I'm sure it means a lot to the victims. Love that he did it on his own. Good man!

So incredibly classy and thoughtful of him. He could be anywhere in the world right now and he chose to be with the victims. That is so touching. What a wonderful thing to do. Bravo Christian!

That is the way to do it. It seems like he did his best to come quietly rather than grandstanding for the press like a lot of celebs and politicians do when they care more about a PR opportunity than doing some good.

Kudos! Mr. Bale, you've done the right thing and most of all you did it the right way! Much respect deserved!

THESE are the stories I want to see the media cover. Not the trial or mindset of the shooter.

"Mr. Bale is there as himself, not representing Warner Brothers." Why would Warner Bros even release that rude statement? That's a statement you would give when one of their stars where to visit a KKK convention but not when one of their stars is doing something nice. That rep should be fired it really makes Warner Bros look like selfish a**holes.

I commend this actor- this is such a kind thing to do and as he should be doing. He will be well respected by many people for this -and it is out of respect for the deceased. This type of goodness makes my heart melt. And right now, the city where this happen and all of the evil going on out there ....we really need it- to show there are good people in this world!

What a hell of a guy! That just shows you what kind of person he is. He did not want publicity; that is why he snuck in. You rock Mr Bale!
