To the guy who asked JS the most obtuse question ever heard, your question about Puerto Rico was ignorant and insensitive!

Ignorance. I personally prefer independence for Puerto Rico. But I want to clear out, the US wins millions of dollars by blocking other countries from making business with us, they take our soldiers and kill them at war, they kill our people just because they think different than them ( Filiberto Ojeda, Albizu Campos) and without evidence they call them 'terrorist' just because they want independence for the island as they once did with the British i 1776. It's hypocritical.

With all respect, we can do better without them. I want people that love our island, not that make fun of it, out of ignorance and disrespect of other cultures.

This is really ignorant. I personally believe Puerto Rico should be independent. People think they give us money, but do the math. This is a capitalist nation, why would they be giving money away? They actually get a lot of money with their products imposed for us to buy, wrecking local business. The US blocked all our business with other countries.They don't let us make our own decisions. They censor our textbooks. They take our people to war and have them killed. Look info of Filiberto Ojeda and Albizu Campos, killed for their ideas of freedom for our country. How hypocritical, since they once fought Britain for independence once. The land of the free? Except for us.

Btw Statehood didn't win i PR.1) It was only 47% of the votes. And not even 50% of the population voted. 2) The PNP, the political party that wants statehood (really corrupt people ) made a really ambivalent ballot, were they didnt explain well the independence side and the ELA Soberano section.

I was disgusted by the comments made about Puerto Ricans on TMZ. Lets get the facts straight millions of Puerto Ricans have been in the armed forces and have died defending the United States. Puerto Ricans have and continue to contribute to this country in many valuable ways heard of something called the Supreme Court Sonia Sotomayor was named a justice in that court. Learn your history and educate yourselves!

Just saw your show and was offended and appalled. Puerto Rico has contributed for more than 110 years to the benefit of the USA. Countless service men and women gave their lives for America. There are more bombs in puerto rico to end life as we know it in the name of America. Statehood is the natural progression not problem for America. Please think before you ever again speak ill of Puerto rico.

Well let me give you the numbers that are NEVERRRR reported in the media. Economists have reported the FULL story that the united states doesnt like to admit, it gives PR a little over 4 billion anually and do you know how much the United States gets back from Puerto Rico ??? 71 BILLION annually!!! Underdstand for those of you out there NEVER accept Puerto Rico EVER being called a welfare state again. The business between that island nation & the united states EARNS them the rights to vote for who should be president and all the other rights taken from us. Puerto rico surely doesnt come close to benefitting as well as the U.S. does.
