Kelly Rowland & Paulina Rubio

Signing on For

'The X Factor'

EXCLUSIVE

0519-kelly-rowland-paulina-rubio-tmz"The X Factor" is upping the sexy factor -- TMZ has learned Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are signing on to be judges for next season.

Sources connected to FOX tell TMZ the pair are in final negotiations to join the show ... with only minor details left to be hammered out before they sign on.

We're told the deals will be done in the next few days, possibly as early as tomorrow.

Rowland and Rubio would be replacing Britney Spears and L.A. Reid ... and joining returning judges Demi Lovato and (of course) Simon Cowell.

A rep for Fox had no comment.

Yes because Paulina had one whole actual musical hit and the rest of her success didn't require any sound.

Can anyone tell me who this Paulina Rubio is? I've never heard of her before, if she's a singer, maybe I've heard of a song from her. If she sing, what is she known for?

NOT ELMO

Kelly Rowland is OK for the Job because She is Black and they need someone Black BUT Hiring Paulina Rubio is a HUGE Mistake, She is NOT Famous in English and She has a HUGEEE Accent when trying to Speak English, They Already have 2 Latinos / Hispanics, Demi Lovato and Mario Lopez and they DON'T need more Latinos...

This show is going down the tubes. I watched the first season. Getting rid of Paula Abdul, and having a Kardasion on the show was a dumb business decision . I didn't watch because of that, and they have lost me for good. It's obvious that not alot of smarts went into selecting people.

The needed badly to get someone who can chart high thanks to having demographics of young people. Though she can't really sing live (didn't stop Britney!) Katy Perry would have been a better choice to try bring ratings. Demi should have been thrown aside too and hire two more that are relevant. Though since this will be the last season like it matters...

They try to make international trendy it ain't going to happen forced to USA tv. Kelly was ok the euro X factor and Paulina did the Latin ones but USA tv only watches the voice when it comes to singing comps. Fox tries so hard to prove they have better talent competitions but no one likes it. Just like trying to make the catchphrase fetch happen. IT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!

Well after the Britney disappointment X Factor swore not to spend more than $9 million on any judge's pay check. With that little money (in sho biz), house hold name status celebrities are out of range. Thats why they can only afford these two "what what say who??" beeches.

all about the money

No idea who these two are...even Demi lacks the Wow factor. I knew X Factor was in trouble after paying Brit out 25Mil and having low ratings. X Factor dodge the chopping block by cutting costs. Guess that explains the new list of names...highest paid will be Simon the rest are probably working for base. They should just cancel and save the trouble. Not like it is going to live another season after this one anyway. X-Factor and AI will both be final season this go around.

Never heard of them and could care less. The Voice is the only talent show worth watching - good judges and great talent!
