Ontario County Sheriff Philip C. Povero said he has now reviewed a second video from the fatal crash this weekend involving Tony Stewart ... but still does not see anything that indicates this was a criminal act.

Stewart has yet to be charged in the accident that claimed the life Saturday night of 20-year-old Kevin Ward Jr. Povero said the autopsy on Ward was completed and the cause of death was massive blunt trauma.

Povero said the Sheriff's Department is still investigating. He said they are analyzing the second camera angle to see if it shows anything different, but right now there are "no facts" so far that show there was any criminal behavior on Stewart's part.

Sheriff's Department bowing to pressure. No culpability, here. The dude stupidly ran into race traffic and he was hit. Case closed.

This is a case where two were at fault. The kid should had not been running out on the track and I strongly believe Stewart tried to rev his engine to make a statement and scare the boy but his race care slide a bit out of control and he hit him. I bet a million dollars he will get off though but he has to live with this the rest of his life.

Ward was clearly visible. Dual white stripes on arms/legs of fire suit. Stewart nailed the throttle, did not steer away from Ward. Clearly intentional. Negligent Homicide at best, Murder II at worst.

Ward was deliberately hit and killed. I hope his family get some justice out of this

At the very least, it appears that Tony Stewart was deliberately trying to come close to Ward, who should not have come out onto the track of course, but Stewart should not have acted like a jerk… if he didn't try to deliberately hit Ward, he was negligent and careless and killed him because of it.

This is sad for all parties involved, but there's no way any decent investigation would find Tony Stewart culpable for this accident. I'm not a racing fan, but common sense dictates that you do not get out of your car and literally wander into the middle of a track in the middle of a race, especially on a dirt track that strips drivers of some control. Ward got hot under the collar and acted in the heat of the moment...Unfortunately, his temper got him killed. I feel bad for Stewart too; I don't know if I'd be able to drive again after that. Sad story.

what i saw was a dumbass get out of his car and put himself in a dangerous situation. BUT the #14 car did seem to romp on the gas as he got close to the #13 dumbass driver. i'm calling no fault on #14 because the dead guy should have stayed in his car and this whole thing could have been avoided.
