X Games belong in the city with the highest violent crime rate in the United States ... Detroit ... so says the Motor City Madman
Ted Nugent.
In case you didn't know, this year will be the X Games' last year in Los Angeles -- and officials are now deciding where to host the 2014 Games ... Chicago, Austin, Charlotte or Detroit.
But for rock legend and proud Detroiter Ted Nugent, the choice is simple ... "There is no better place for the X Games to be celebrated by a more dedicated high-energy sports fan base than in my beloved birth city of Detroit."
He adds, "The incredible positive spirit and energy of the mighty Motor City is alive and well ... Let the games erupt!"
FYI, according to several studies, you're more likely to be a victim of violent crime in Detroit than in any other city in the U.S. ...
So we gotta ask ...

Ted Nugent has three words for the dead former President of Venezuela
Hugo Chavez -- "ADIOS MO FO."
Nugent -- a staunch anti-Communist -- tells TMZ, "All dictators, tyrants, slave-drivers and despots should die ASAP. Let freedom ring."
Chavez
died yesterday following a battle with cancer.
It makes total sense Nugent would hate the guy -- Chavez was an outspoken anti-American who has long criticized America's foreign policy. During his political career, Chavez also allied with the Communist government of Cuba and the Socialist governments of other Latin American countries.
In sum, Chavez pretty much embodied everything Nugent hates about extremist left-wing politics.

Ted Nugent WENT OFF on a male CBS news reporter during a sit-down interview this week ... claiming he's a "damned nice guy" ... and to prove it, he offered oral sex.
It all went down during a sit-down interview with Jeff Glor ... when Glor suggested he was not a moderate.
Nugent exploded, "I'm an extremely loving and passionate man, and people who investigate me honestly, without the baggage of political correctness, ascertain the conclusion that I'm a damned nice guy ... and if you can find a screening process more powerful than that, I'll s*ck your d**k."
Nugent then turned to Glor's female producer and said, "Or I'll f**k you, how's that sound?"
After the interview, Glor said Nugent's wife came out and told the former rock star that he needed to apologize. And he did.
