Ashlee's Doing 'Excellent'

We ran into Ashlee Simpson at the popular Hollywood hotspot Hyde last night. Jessica's little sis -- who arrived right behind Kevin Connolly with girlfriend Nicky Hilton -- was spotted with a group of friends giving the cameras the "thumbs up" and when asked how she was doing she replied, "I'm doing excellent."

Also out on the town was platinum-selling rapper Snoop Dogg (posing for pics with fans), comedian Paul Rodriguez, Bob Saget, Rick Fox and the very camera shy Mary-Kate Olsen.
